DECOY WA-51 Wire Double Assist

DECOY WA-51 Wire Double Assist is an assist system with a double hook designed to improve hook-up ratios when fishing with large soft plastics or swimbaits. The construction uses a double hook with a bait holder spike for securing it in the lure, extended by a flexible wire leader. After a strike, the hook releases from the body of the lure and the flexible wire allows the fish to move without the leverage of the lure, significantly reducing the risk of tearing out or losing the fish during the fight.

The system uses a 37 steel wire with a nylon coating, which is resistant to kinking while remaining sufficiently flexible. Connections are secured with double crimp sleeves, ensuring reliable strength even under heavy load. The hook features an outward-facing bait holder for secure attachment inside the soft plastic, and the rig can be easily connected to the main hook or the rear eye of a jig head using a split ring. The WA-51 is a practical solution for situations where increasing hook-up efficiency is crucial when targeting larger predators. Made in Japan.
